NYC NLP/ML Group

Joseph Turian‘s back in town and has started a mailing list/newsgroup and Twitter feed for natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) in New York City (NYC):

Joseph’s trying to organize something like the Foo Camps for NLP and ML programming in NY. If you’re interested, drop him a line, or wait for the announcement.

Thanks for the writeup. I am curious to see where this leads.

Do you or any of your readers know any NY NLP groups?
If so, please send them along to me. I know about some ML groups, but no ML+NLP groups.
